CA: Harm Reduction Case Management 202
|
|
This training uses a harm reduction model to provide in-depth knowledge of "Real Life" case management experiences provided by participants! It is designed to target those with intermediate experience and/or those who have attended HRC's Harm Reduction Case Management 101 or other general case management trainings. The first half will consist of an overview of case management and the most common obstacles in providing care. The second half will be scenario based discussions centered on actual client interventions and obstacles to provisions of care. This will be accomplished through a group process using role-plays, and interactive group discussions. The information and activities will strengthen case management skills as well as serve to create a working knowledge of harm reduction based interventions." (Course meets the requirements for 7 hours of continuing education credit for MFTs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences; for Certified Addiction Treatment Specialists through the CA Association of Alcohol and Drug Educators, and for RNs through the CA Board of Registered Nursing) Date:
